Root: A Game of Woodland Might and Right is a strategy game where players control different factions vying for control of a forest.
Objective: Each faction has unique goals, and the game ends when a player meets their faction's victory conditions.
Setup: Choose a faction (Marquise de Cat, Eyrie Dynasties, Woodland Alliance, or Vagabond), set up the board and components, and organize the cards.
Gameplay: Players take turns using their faction’s special abilities. The Marquise de Cat builds and controls territory, the Eyrie Dynasties expand and build nests, the Woodland Alliance secretly recruits and plots, and the Vagabond moves between factions to complete hidden quests.
